Cardinals Slam Cody-Kilgore 87-20

The St. Mary's Cardinal boys varsity improved their record to 8-1 with a 87-20 victory over the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys Saturday evening. The Cards were able to take a 44-11 halftime lead against the inexperienced Cowboys and allowed all 14 Cards to score in the contest.

The Cardinals placed three men in double figures, led by Cole Moon and Adam Moon with 12 each. Center Connor Connot chipped in with 10 tallies. St. Mary's out rebounded the Cowboys 32-21 and were led by Aaron Ohri with six boards. Adam Moon pulled down four rebounds while Connor Connot, Ty Eiler, Kyle Pardun and Matt Kelly all added three caroms. Point guard Eiler led the assist column with six dimes while Ohri and Pardun each added three. On defense the Moon brothers, Eiler, Kelly and Kyle
Regan all had three steals while Ohri contributed two blocked shots.
