The Stuart Broncos ended their regular season just like they have the past four years with a district championship. The Broncos traveled to Litchfield last Friday night to take on the Knights and prevailed 54-0. The Broncos started on defense to begin the game and forced a three and out. Nigel Addison and the punt return team set up the Broncos most of the night. The Broncos scored in two plays with Owen Littau rushing for 20 yards and 1 yard for a touchdown. The next series, the Broncos scored on a 5-yard pass completion from Kayde Ramm to Atwood Albrecht. The Broncos scored 27 more points in the second quarter to take a 40-0 lead into halftime. Austin Connot scored from 38-yards out and Lane Boelter connected with Hayden Dvorak from 28-yards out to score the 14 points in the third quarter. The defense held on strong to secure the shutout for the Broncos. Drew Schmaderer led the ground game for the Broncos, carrying the ball twice for 52 yards and one touchdown; Kayde Ramm had two carries for 32 yards; Owen Litttau had four carries for 30 yards and one touchdown, and Kole Estill had one carry for two yards. Hayden Dvorak led the Stuart receivers with one catch for 28 yards and one touchdown; Tommy Paxton had one catch for six yards and one touchdown; Altwood Albrecht had one catch for five yards and one touchdown; Schmaderer had one catch for three yards and one touchdown; and Littau had one catch for two yards. Leading the Bronco defense was Hayden Dvorak with 11 tackles, Austin Connot had eight tackles, Littau had seven tackles, Austin Fuelberth and Tommy Paxton each had six tackles, Altwood Albrecht had five tackles, Nigel Addison had four tackles, Peyton Mustin and Seth Connot had three tackles, Kyler Schaaf and Trey Wallinger had two tackles each, and Cameron Kaup and Mark Alder each had one tackle each. Stuart will face a 5-3 Meridian team this Friday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. in Stuart. This is the round of post season play for the Broncos.
