The O'Neill Community Foundation is proud to announce recent grants benefiting two local organizations, Bright Horizons and the O'Neill Rod and Gun Club. These grants are geared towards enhancing community facilities and services.

Bright Horizons received a grant to improve its newly acquired office space at 119 N. 4th St. This grant from the O'Neill Community Foundation will fund essential signage installation, ensuring that survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault can easily locate their services. It will also create a kitchenette for staff and clients, enhancing their workspace.

Linda Olson, Executive Director of Bright Horizons, expressed her gratitude, stating, "These funds are a blessing, as most grants don't cover signage and renovations. They will help us provide a more comfortable space for our clients."

The O'Neill Rod and Gun Club received a grant to improve accessibility at their facility. In response to a member's mobility needs, the club paved surfaces to create accessible pathways from the clubhouse to shooting stations. This initiative benefits not only those with disabilities but also older shooters who appreciate safer walking surfaces.

These grants exemplify the O'Neill Community Foundation's commitment to supporting organizations that contribute to the community's well-being and inclusivity.

The O'Neill Community Foundation strives to enrich the quality of life in the O'Neill area both today and in the future. To learn more about the many local organizations that have benefited from the O'Neill Community Foundation or to donate, visit www.oneillcommunityfoundation.org
