The O'Neill varsity golfers competed at Plainview last week and shot a 160, while Plainview shot a 165. Mitch Klooz and Sam Mueret from Plainview tied for the low round of the dual shooting 36. Nate Gotschall lead the Eagles with a 38. Luke Loecker was close behind with a 39. Cody Belzer and Dalton Jackson rounded out the scoring for the Eagles Varsity shooting 41 and 42 respectively. O'Neill's young JV squad got off to a great start to the year with a strong showing in their first dual. The JV was lead by Jon Hofer shooting 48, while Tristan Strong shot a 49. Adam Soukup and Matt Kelly were able to both shoot 52's to round out the scoring for the JV. They were able to score a team total of 201 while Plainview's JV shot a 240. The Eagles are next in action on the April 3, when they host Neligh in another dual at the O'Neill Country Club.
