Finish Week 1-2

Sarah devall pushes for position in last Thursday's game against Ainsworth.

Last week the Lady Eagles finished up 1-2 dropping one to the Guardian Angels on Tuesday, Ainsworth on Thursday and then a victory against Creighton on Saturday. The team has really showed great improvement over the past three weeks, both physically and mentally. Player are starting to step into their rolls on this team and Saturday they finally put together a complete four quarter game. They will need to continue to improve each day and go into the Mid-State tournament playing the best basketball they can.

In the game against GACC leading scorers for the Eagles were Lindsey Appleby with 13 points, Brandi Walters with seven and Sarah Devall with four. The Eagles lost to GACC 76-37.

In the game against Ainsworth the Lady Eagles held the game to within 10 at the half but the Dawgs pulled away defeating the Eagles 66-44. Leading scorers for the game were Brandi Walters with 22 and Lindsey Appleby with 11.

In the game on Saturday the Lady Eagles got edged out by Creighton 61-56. Leading the Eagles were Lindsey Appleby with 21, Brandi Walters with 15, Sarah Devall with 12, Dani Barelmann with seven and Breana Jakubowski with five.
