Lady Eagles Down Braves

On Tuesday Dec. 11 the Lady Eagles hosted Pierce. The Lady Eagles fell to Pierce by a score of 56-30.

Leading the Eagles in scoring were Lindsey Appleby with 13 points, Brandi Walters and Rahtaya Young each had five points and Randi Pinkerman had three.

On Friday the Lady Eagles hosted the Battle Creek Lady Bravettes and came away with their first win beating them 59-38.

Leading the Lady Eagles were Brandi Walters with 30 points, Lyndsey Appleby with 20 points,   Barelmann with three points and Randi Pinkerman, Rahlaya Young, Natalie Broderson all will two points each.

Saturday the Lady Eagles battled Wayne but came up short 55-35.

Leading the Eagles were Brandi Walters with 15 points, Lindsey Appleby with nine points and Dani Barelmann with five points. "Last week O'Neill girl's went 1-2 against Pierce, Battle Creek  and Wayne.  This year has us facing a very tough schedule in the mid-states.  This last week we won against Battle Creek and dropped two games against a very good Pierce and Wayne teams.  Our girls are improving every game and we are starting to understand our roles. We need to continue to improve each week and this week will get no easier facing defending C-2 champion Crofton and Guardian Angels, who are currently rated number one  in D1.  Our goal is to come go into the break feeling confident and go into our holiday tournament  with confidence.
