Lady Tigers Compete At Ansley

Last Thursday the Lady Tigers played Niobrara/Verdigre and won in three sets 25-12,25-12 and 25-13.

Leading the Tigers were Riley Funk with eight kills, two solo blocks, nine ace serves and eight digs; Laura Hynes had one kill, six set assists, thre ace serves and three digs; Tori Thramer with with six kills, two ace serves and four digs and Natasha Koenig with nine kills and six digs.

On Saturday the Lady Tigers traveled to Ansley to face Loup City, Ansley and Sandhills Thedford.

In the first match The Tigers downed Loup City in two sets 25-19 and 25-14. 

Leading in this match were Riley Funk with four kills, one solo block, one ace serve and four digs; Laura Hynes with three kills and one dig; Tori Thramer with four kills, one ace serve and two digs. Kelsey Brummels with 12 set assists and five ace serves.

In the next match Ewing lost to Ansley in three sets 16-25, 25-20 and 18-25. Leading in the match where Riley Funk with seven kills and two ace serves; Laura Hynes with two kills and three solo blocks and three digs; Tori Thramer with five kills, one ace serve and three digs; Nastasha Koenig with eight kills, four ace serves and two digs and Katie Koenig with four kills and two solo assists. In the last game Ewing defeated Sandhills/Thedford by 25-18, 25-17 and 25-23. Leading in this match were Riley Funk with 10 kills and four digs; Laura Hynes with one kill, six set assists and three digs; Natasha Koenig with 10 kills, two solo blocks, four ace served and four digs.
