"The Eagles got onto the winning track this Friday with a 49-0 win over the Ainsworth Bulldogs.  The Eagles started out with a strong first quarter taking the lead 21-0 and never looking back.  I was very proud of the way our team responded to the challenge this week of getting back to our run game offensively and our run stop game defensively.  I though our line took some major steps this week and we will need to continue to get better in this area if we plan on competing in our next five games.  This week we are excited to play at home again this coming week vs. the Battle Creek Braves.  Last week we did not play very well at all and our players still remember the double overtime loss to Battle Creek last season.  Our team will continue to work hard at getting better this week and we anticipate an exciting game once again this year with Battle Creek come Friday." said Coach Brock Eichelberger.
