Eagle JV Opens Season With A Win

Last Tuesday O’Neill JV played host to the Ainsworth Bulldogs and came away with a victory, 38-14.  

Offensively the Eagles were able to move the ball well both on the ground and through the air.  “Our offensive line opened some big holes and protected our quarterback better than any other JV squad I have coached,” commented Coach Kallhoff. 

The Eagles were equally impressive defensively by only allowing the Bulldogs 47 total yards and kept the Ainsworth offense out of the end zone all night. The two scores given up by the Eagles came from a poor snap on a punt, and a “pick-6” on offense.

It was a great way to open the season and the Eagles hope to take this momentum into their next game as they host Crofton Monday, Sept. 10.
