Knoxville, TN — Douglas Ray Loock, 68, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Spencer, died Monday, June 16, 2025 at his home in Knoxville, TN. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Spencer. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Biglin's Mortuary in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements. Douglas was born on May 21, 1957 to Richard and Barbara (Cleary) Loock in Lynch. His family moved to Fremont while he was in grade school. Doug was a 1975 graduate of Fremont High School where he travelled to Canada as a member of the marching band, he was cast in the Fremont High School play Oklahoma musical and also played for the Country Apollos band. Doug went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he was a member of the TKO fraternity and served as president of TKO during his membership. Doug lived in Minnesota for an extended period of time where he loved the outdoors, especially spending time on the many lakes of Minnesota. Boating and skiing were a passion when he had enough time. Doug is survived by his mother Barbara Loock of Fremont; four siblings Patricia Christen and Sherri (Stan) Tafoya, all of Lincoln, Wayne Loock of Fremont and Lori (Jonathan) Swindell of Blue Springs, MO; many nieces and nephews; and special friend and caretaker Patsy Morris of Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Loock.
