The St. Mary's boys clipped the Bloomfield boys 66-35 at Bloomfield last week.

The boys took a lead from the Bees in the first quarter and then a huge lead in the second with the Cardinal defense holding the Bees to six for a 40-17 lead.

The Cardinals took it easy in the second half, with the bench seeing time while still holding them to six in the third. The fourth quarter saw each team score 12 points to seal the victory for the Cards.

Adam Everitt led the Cards with 19 points, shooting three of four in the three point range and four of five in the two point range for 80 percent, Adam had four rebounds; Isaac Everitt 17 points, three rebounds and two steals; Aidan Hedstrom 13 points, two rebounds and two steals; Blake Benson five points and one steal; Charles Barlow four points and five rebounds; Tate Thompson four points, four rebounds and three steals; and Dalton Alder two points and three rebounds.

 On Thursday, Jan. 13 the Cards traveled to Summerland and soundly defeated the Bobcats 71-39.

 The Bobcats' defense couldn't contain the Cardinals as they racked up a whopping 40 points at the half. The Cards kept the pressure up in the third and the bench took care of the fourth period to wind down the action.

 Isaac Everitt led the Cardinals again with 17 points, three rebounds and three steals; Hedstrom 14 points, three rebounds and one steal; Thompson 13 points, six rebounds and two steals; Adam Everitt 12 points, six rebounds and one steal; Benson six points, one rebound and four steals; Charles Barlow six points, seven rebounds and one steal; and Alder three points, three rebounds and one steal.

 On Saturday the Cards traveled to Chambers and downed the Renegades 72-25. Neither squad submitted stats for this match.
