Cardinals Fall To Bees 28-12

The Cardinal football team traveled to Bloomfield last Friday evening and suffered another loss 28-12.

Bloomfield drew first blood on the evening when Quinn O'Brien threw a 58-yard touchdown pass to Adam Haigh to put the Bee's up 6-0 at the end of the first quarter. 

In the second quarter Bloomfield scored again when O'Brien threw to Haigh for a nine-yard touchdown. The Cards found life in the second quarter when Jared Tomjack ran in a one-yard touchdown for the Cards and then quarterback Kyle Regan found the end zone for a one-yard  touchdown. Bloomfield scored once more in the second quarter on a 13-yard run by O'Brien and then a two point conversion by Cody Beckmann put the Bee's up 20-12 at the half.

In the third quarter neither team found the end zone. In the fourth quarter Bloomfield sealed the win on a 14-yard touchdown by Beckmann.

Top rushers on the night were Zack Novak with 52 yards and Cody Beckmann with 97 yards. Regan was 7/20 for 72 yards and O'Brien was 6/11 for 103 yards. Top receivers were Tomjack with two catches for 39 yards and Haigh with five catches for 100 yards.
