Broncos Win Four In A Row

The Stuart Broncos extended their winning streak to four last Thursday afternoon. The Broncos traveled to Elba to take on the Bluejays. The Broncos started out rolling. The Broncos scored on eight of their first 12 plays and were up 55-0 at the break. The game ended 68-22. 

The Broncos had 263 yards rushing on only 27 carries. Will Paxton had 77 yards on three carries and two touchdowns. Simon Addison had 74 yards on four carries and two touchdowns. Drew Schmaderer had 102 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns. Kayde Ramm completed 5/9 passing and had three touchdowns. His touchdown passes were to Ben Paxton, Hunter Tubbs and Drew Schmaderer. 

On defense, Haden Kaup and Will Paxton led the team with seven tackles each. Hunter Tubbs had six tackles and Drew Schmaderer had five. Beau Duhacheck had a sack in the contest and Kayde Ramm had two interceptions. Ramm returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown. 

The Broncos will host Hampton Friday night for a district title. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
