Stuart — Brian Lee Schafer, 56, of Stuart, died Monday, June 2, 2025 quietly at his home. He was discovered that day and all indications suggest that he died quite suddenly and without distress. Memorial visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Stuart Presbyterian Church in Stuart. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the church in Stuart. Burial will be in the Stuart Community Cemetery in Stuart, and then lunch back at the church, just how Brian would've wanted it: casual, laid-back and full of stories. Please come as you are. Golf carts and side-by-sides are welcome and encouraged if you have one. This will be the Boogie Buggy Burial. Brian would've insisted you ride in style. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson is in charge of the arrangements.
