Chambers FD Responds To Shop Fire

THE CHAMBERS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT responded to a shop on fire Sunday. The entire place was a total loss by the time firefighters appeared on scene.

At approximately 8:59 p.m. on Sept. 14, the Chambers Volunteer Fire Department was paged to a shop fire at 85541 495th Avenue. Upon arrival, the shop and all of its contents were already a complete loss. Approximately 10 hay bales were also burning at the scene.

Chambers Fire crews remained on scene until about 1 a.m. on Sept. 15. CVFD responded with Trucks 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 12 and 99-1, utilizing roughly 11,000 gallons of water to bring the fire under control.

The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical.
