The Boyd County Spartans edged out the CWC Lady Renegades 29-25 in a low scoring game on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The Lady Renegades were first and the only ones to get a score on the board, putting up seven in the first stanza while the Spartans scored nine in the second to trail 10-9 at the half. The Spartans managed to put up 11 in the third while the Renegades managed five. The fourth was close as the Renegades put up a strong 10 points but fell to the Spartans by four. Leading the Renegades was Brianna Klabenes with nine points and seven rebounds; Annabel Waldo six points, seven rebounds and one steal; Ella Moses six points, 11 rebounds and two steals; Rose Woeppel two points, four rebounds and one steal; and Lizzie Gartner two points, four rebounds and one steal.
