Date: 10-9-2025 The Holt County Weed Board met in regular session. This meeting was publicized pursuant to Section 84-1411 R.R.S, 1943. Notice of meeting given in advance thereof by publication in paper as shown by Affidavit of Publication on KBRX October 9th 2025, on the radio. Dan Pribil convened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. and informed the public of the location of the Open Meeting Poster. The meeting started at 7:00 P.M. Present: Dan Pribil, Tom Welsh, Caleb Ross, Dan Drueke, Supervisor Dustin Breiner and Weed Superintendent William Babutzke. Absent: Kevin Dekay Minutes Approved: made a motion to approve the minutes by Dan Drueke and Dustin Breiner seconded. All approved Claims Approved: made a motion to approve the claims by Tom Welsh and Dustin Breiner seconded. All approved Public comments: None were made Old Business: N/A New Business: A complaint was made on a property north of O'Neill. Spraying is all done. We are cleaning out pickups and winterizing the equipment next week. The weed department is getting ready to start shredding trees in the next couple of weeks. Information on the following list of twelve noxious weeds found in Nebraska can be located at the neweed.org website with sufficient information on each noxious weed. Canada Thistle, Musk Thistle, Plumeless Thistle, Purple Loosestrife, Spotted Knapweed, Diffuse Knapweed, Saltcedar, Phragmites, Giant Knotweed, Japanese Knotweed, Sericea Lespedeza, Leafy Spurge.
