The Stuart Bronco football team will be advancing to the quarterfinals of the D6 playoffs for the third straight season. The Broncos hosted Meridian last Friday afternoon at Stuart Park and came away with the 47-7 victory. The Broncos broke the game open in the first half with a 41-0 lead advantage. The Broncos rested most of their starters in the second half, and the reserves played well.

The Broncos' offense was a rushing attack as they rushed for 310 yards. The Broncos had three players rush for at least 50 yards. Owen Littau led the way with 99 yards and two touchdowns. Kayde Ramm had 75 yards and three touchdowns, and Austin Connot rushed for 68 yards. Drew Schmaderer was not far behind with 48 yards on seven carries. The Broncos' offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage. Cameron Kaup, Zane Doke, Trey Wallinger, Atwood Albrecht, and Bryer Almgren were the big guys up front.

The defense came to play again, allowing only seven points in the contest. Ramm led the way for the defense as he accounted for eight tackles and one sack. Hayden Dvorak, Bryer Almgren, Atwood Albrecht, and Owen Littau all had five tackles for the game. Austin Connot had four tackles. Seth Connot and Cameron Kaup each had two tackles. Nigel Addison, Drew Schmaderer, Kyler Schaaf, and Trey Wallinger each chipped in with one tackle. The turnovers were in the Broncos' favor as they forced five of them. Drew Schmaderer had two interceptions and returned one for 48 yards for a touchdown. Lane Boelter fell on two fumbles, and Littau stripped the ball from the Meridian running back and ran it back for 26 yards for a touchdown.

The Broncos will host their final football game on Friday afternoon at Stuart Park. They will play the Leyton Warriors with a trip to the semi-finals on the line. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
