Bonnie Beyersdorf, 78, of O'Neill died Sunday, May 22, 2022, surrounded by her family at Parkside Manor in Stuart.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Holt County Animal Shelter in O'Neill, the O'Neill Volunteer Fire Department or Jehovah's Witnesses at www.jw.org.
Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of the arrangements.
Bonnie had spent most of her life in Boyd County and O'Neill. She attended primary school at Boyd County School District #61 before she went to Spencer High School, graduating in 1962. Bonnie then attended Grand Island Business School in Grand Island, graduating in 1963.
Bonnie was baptized and dedicated as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1971 in Washington state. She continued to help others to learn about the Bible and their hope for the future until her passing.
Bonnie worked for Reiser's Insurance in O'Neill until her retirement.
Bonnie lived at The Evergreen Assisted Living for a few years. She loved Dee Fritz and the staff. She enjoyed the food, activities and all the care she received there plus all the residents who became friends.
Afterwards Bonnie lived at Parkside Manor in Stuart where she loved the staff, especially Riley, the therapy dog, who she called her nurse and part-time roommate that she paid with treats and pets.
Bonnie is survived by her only son Marc (Jamie) Beyersdorf of O'Neill, her sister Betty Anderson of Omaha, her brother Charlie Prokop of Bristow, one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Rudolph and Selma Prokop of Boyd County and her grandparents.
