Over the last three weeks, the Stuart Bronco Football team has gone 2-0 with a bye week in there. The Broncos knocked of Santee by a score of 68-0 and the #8 rated Hampton Hawks by a score of 53-20.

Against Santee, the Broncos got off to a fast start and never looked back. The Broncos scored on their first three possessions by an Owen Littau 25-yard touchdown run, Atwood Albrecht 20- yard touchdown reception from Lane Boelter and a 24- yard Drew Schmaderer run. The JV team played some good minutes in this ball game. Kole Estill had five carries for 50 yards and one touchdown. Peyton Mustin had six carries for 34 yards and one touchdown. Seth Connot had one carry for 20 yards and one touchdown. Lane Boelter started at quarterback for the Broncos and was 2/2 for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Boelter's second touchdown pass went to Max Alder who scampered down the sideline for 65 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos dominated. Hayden Dvorak and Austin Connot each had 11 tackles and led the team for the contest. Dvorak had an interception that he returned for 12-yards for a touchdown. Seth Connot had six tackles. Freshman Kyler Schaaf had four tackles and one sack for the game. Sophomores, Tommy Paxton, Max Alder and Austin Fuelberth each had three tackles. Bryer Almgren, Albrecht, Mustin and Brook Wallinger each chipped in for two tackles. Almgren also had an interception that he returned 20-yards for a touchdown.

Against Hampton, it was all the Broncos from the start. Hampton started with the ball and the Broncos forced them to punt and on the following possession, the Broncos scored in two plays. Owen Littau was a part of those two plays and his line, Cameron Kaup, Zane Doke, Atwood Albrecht and Tommy Paxton, open a hole and Littau ran it in from 25 yards out to go up 8-0. After a Hampton touchdown, the Broncos responded again with a pass from Kayde Ramm to Albrecht that resulted in a 14-yard touchdown. Then to end the first quarter, Ramm connected with Tommy Paxton for a 53-yard touchdown to end a dominated quarter by the Broncos.

The Broncos would end the half with two more Littau touchdowns to take a 38-12 lead. The Broncos stalled the first drive of the second half but got right back on track after a fumble cause by Cameron Kaup and the Broncos scored on the next play with a Littau run. Ramm connected with Drew Schmaderer for a 15-yard reception that end on the 1-yard line and the next play, Ramm connected with Littau for a touchdown.

The defense was led by Tommy Paxton with seven tackles and onesack for the sophomore. Albrecht and Littau each had six tackles. Littau had an interception that returned for 25-yards for a touchdown that sealed the deal for the Broncos. Nigel Addison and Drew Schmaderer each had five tackles. Schmaderer also had a key interception in the second half. Cameron Kaup and Hayden Dvorak each had three tackles. Austin Connot, Bryer Almgren and Austin Fuelberth each had two tackles and Kyler Schaaf chipped in with one tackle.

The Broncos travel the next two weeks to round out the season but are hopeful to host a playoff game or two. They travel to Shelton this Friday. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
