St. Mary's Junior High Competes At Bassett

Caleigh Miles competes in the pole vault at the O'Neill Junior High Invite held Tuesday, April 17 in O'Neill.

The St. Mary's High School Junior High Track team competed in the North Central Invite in Basset on Tuesday, April 10.

The girls won their division, scoring 188 points and the boys finished as runner up, with 59 points.

Medalists in the girls' division were: 

Rylie Sibbel: first, long jump, 13'10.25"; first 300 meter hurdles, .53.31; first, triple jump, 30'8.5".

Ashley Everitt: 1st 800 meter run, 2:53.10; 1st high jump, 4'8"; third 1600 meter run, 6:26.50.

Emily Pongratz: first, 100 meter hurdles, .17.98; second, 300 meter hurdles, .55.68; second, 200 meter dash, .30.19.

Logan Connot: second, 800 meter run, 2.55.97.

Tracy Chvala: second, shot put, 26'2.5"; second, discus, 74'4".

Rylie Pistulka: second, high jump, 4'5"; third, 300 meter hurdles, .57.31; 4x100 relay, second.

Jayde Rosenkrans: third, 800 meter run, 2:57.28.

Paula Zakrzewski, fourth, 1600 meter run, 6:31.34.

Sydney Hupp: fourth, shot put, 25'4"; fourth, discus, 72'5" .

Hailey Eiler: fourth, 400 meter dash, 1:12.25.

Kendra Kozisek, fifth, 100 meter hurdles, .20.53.

Taylor Coleman, sixth, long jump, 12'6.75"; sixth, 100 meter dash, .14.64.
