The O'Neill Boy's Track Team competed in two invitational track meets. The O'Neill Boys team first traveled to Battle Creek Tuesday, April 4th, and placed 6th overall. Eleven schools competed at the meet.

The Eagle hurdlers were able to medal two. Oliver Schluns placed 3rd and Drew Morrow placed 4th. The 4 x 100 meter relay placed 5th. In the long jump Tyler Diediker placed 3rd with a jump of 20' ¾”, and Drew Morrow placed 67th with an effort of 19' 7 ½”. Kyler Dean tied for fourth in the pole vault with 11' 6”. 

The Eagles went to the Broken Bow Invitational Thursday, April 6th. The team was placed 10th overall. 

Drew Morrow placed in both hurdles: 4th in the 300 intermediate hurdles and 6th in the 110 high hurdles. Oliver Schluns placed 3rd in the 110 high hurdles. Tyler Diediker continued to improve with a jump of 20' 7 ½ “ and placed 2nd. 

“We are continuing to improve. Overall, we are young. The key is to continue to improve every week,” said Coach Hilker.

This Thursday, April 13th, the O'Neill Eagles will host their invitational. Eighteen schools from the area will participate in the 62nd Annual O'Neill invitational. Field and running events will start at 10 a.m.
