Lady Tigers Host Triangular With SMH and Plainview

The Ewing Lady Tigers opened up their season hosting a triangular with St. Mary's and Plainview.

Ewing's first opponent was Plainview and the Tigers downed them 25-15 and 25-19.

Leading the Tigers were Laura Hynes with two kills, five set assists, five ace serves and one dig; Riley Funk with five kills, one solo block, four ace serves and two digs; Katie Koenig with five kills, one set assist, two solo blocks and two digs; and Natasha Koenig with two kills, two ace serves and two digs.

In the second game the Tigers downed St. Mary's 25-16 and 26-24. Leading the Lady Tigers were Riley Funk with 11 kills, one ace serve; Laura Hynes with one kill, eight set assists, one ace serve and two digs; Tori Thramer with five kills, three solo blocks and three digs; Natasha Koenig with one kill, one set assist, two solo blocks and four digs; and Katie Koenig with five kills, three solo blocks and two digs.

In the third game St. Mary's defeated Plainview by a score of 25-14 and  25-16.
