The St. Mary's Lady Cardinals traveled to Wausa for a Volleyball Triangular with Bloomfield on Thursday, August 28. The Cards hit a pothole, losing both matches 2-1. In the game against Wausa, the Cards lost the first set 25-19, won the second 25-18, and lost the third 25-19. Leading the Cards were; Tatum Ickes with nine kills and five digs; Gracie Williamson nine kills and 11 digs; Delaney Drueke three kills, four ace serves, one block and five digs; Anna Otte two kills, one block and two digs; Adyson Peterson two kills, two ace serves,10 digs and 22 set assists; and Bethany Leisy 13 digs. In the other game, the Cards faced the Bloomfield Bees. The Cards lost 25-18, 14-25, and 25-14. Leading the Cards were Ickes with 10 kills and 11 digs; Williamson had seven kills and four digs; Halle Boethcher three kills and six digs; Otte two kills; Drueke one kill, five ace serves and seven digs; Peterson three ace serves, 10 digs and 21 set assists.
