O'Neill vs. Guardian Angel CC

The Eagles hosted the Bluejays in volleyball action last Thursday night.The Eagles were defeated in three sets, 25-12, 25-8 and 25-15.

In the first set the Eagles trailed 12-15 when the Bluejays were able to score ten points in a row to win the set. In the next two sets GACC jumped to considerable leads early and the Eagles couldn't get back in the game.

Rahtaya Young and Natalie Brodersen led with three kills each followed by Abby Krysl with two kills.McKenzie Adamson and Amanda Pischel each added one kill.

Sarah Devall had eight digs and eight assists on the night to lead in those two categories.

Triangular with Ord and 

Lutheran High NE

The O'Neill Eagles traveled to Norfolk for a triangular with Ord and Lutheran High NE this past weekend.The Eagles suffered two losses against two strong teams.

Ord defeated Lutheran High NE the first game in three close sets.

Ord took on O'Neill in the second game downing them in two sets 25-12 and 25-16.

At the net McKenzie Adamson led with five kills followed by Abby Krysl with two kills. Young, Becker and Pischel each had one kill apiece.Pischel also posted two blocks against the Chants.

Defensively Sarah Devall did a great job with 14 digs while Rahtaya Young and Allison Becker followed with six and four digs respectively.

In the last match O'Neill faced LHNE, they were defeated 25-11 and 25-4.

McKenzie Adamson led with three kills and also led with six good serve receives. Young and Devall picked up four and three digs respectively against the Eagles.
