O'Neill, NE — Holt County Economic Development (HCED) is pleased to announce the addition of Sonia Costilla as the new Project Manager, as well as the addition of two Nebraska Community Foundation Hometown Interns for the summer. Sonia Costilla joins HCED with an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design, along with a strong background in customer service and project coordination. Her passion for content creation and community engagement makes her a valuable addition to the HCED team. Sonia is excited to bring her creativity and drive to support ongoing projects and community events throughout Holt County. "I look forward to connecting with the many businesses and people of Holt County who make this community thrive, as we continue to grow and support the mission and purpose of HCED through our current and upcoming projects." In addition to welcoming Sonia, HCED is thrilled to announce the team will be joined for the summer by two local interns, Amelia Hakl and Ally Sedlacek. Amelia has just completed her first year at Peru State College studying Marketing. Through the Nebraska Community Foundation's Hometown Intern program, Amelia will be dividing her summer working on marketing with HCED as well as assisting the Spencer Community Foundation Fund. Ally is returning for a second summer with HCED following the completion of her junior year at the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Political Science and Journalism. HCED looks forward to adding these three new members to the office staff, bringing with them valuable experience, strong local ties, and a deep enthusiasm for community development.
