The family and friends of Haley Miller will be having a fund raiser on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Handlebend in O'Neill at 215 E. Douglas. The Live Auction will start at 6:30 p.m. Haley (Schmeichel) Miller, an RN and day care provider, has been diagnosed with GPA (granulomatosis with poly angiitis), vasculitis, and relapsing poly chondritis, rare, complex autoimmune diseases. She will begin chemotherapy after previous treatments failed. During this time, she will be unable to work, placing financial strain on her family. Funds raised will help with medical expenses, bills, food and travel to the Cancer Center in Omaha. A live and silent auction will be held on Feb. 28, with a meal available for free with donation.
