O'Neill's Ryder Pokorny (1) snags a catch from Drew Morrow in Friday's game against Broken Bow.
O'Neill's Porter Mathews (9) carries the ball down the field while Colton Osborne (77) backs him up.

Last week saw the O'Neill Eagles football team square off against the Broken Bow Indians in O'Neill. The game ended in a crushing 40-14 in the Indians favor. This match moves the Eagles to a 2-2 score so far this season.

Quarter one seemed like a promising start, with the Indians taking a drive down and scoring first with 7:29 in the first. The second quarter was what really sunk the Eagles. The Eagle dense couldn't keep the Indians down and let them put up 20.

Going to third, the Eagles were at a major disadvantage, but still managed to sneak in a touchdown with a two point conversion. The fourth saw both clubs use the bench with Broken Bow putting up one more score on the night.
