Eagle Girls Send Ainsworth Home 63-43

After an encouraging victory over Boone Central two weeks ago, the O'Neill Eagle girls would go to face Ainsworth on Thursday, Feb. 11. They won 63-43.

The Eagles kicked the match off  well, putting up 17 while holding down the Bulldogs to 10. Quarter two was another great one for the Eagles, putting them a further seven points ahead their competitor.

During the third, the Eagles put up even more points, widening the gap between the two teams further. In the final quarter of the game, the Bulldogs managed to squeeze one solid win over the Eagles, but they were still sunken. 

Hannah Hilker ranks first with her 19 points, shooting six of 10 three-pointers for 60 percent. Hilker also had three rebounds; Ashley Sidak just behind with 18 points and one steal; Olivia Young had seven points, three rebounds and two steals; Presley Heiss seven points, two rebounds and four steals; Lauryn Dusatko five points; Bergyn Classen three points, one rebound and two steals; Autumn Hilker two points, two rebounds and one steal; and Rylee Selby two points and one steal.
