The Eagles played in two games this past week. The team defeated West Holt on Sept. 29 with scores of 25-16, 17-25 and 15-13. Rahtaya Young was the leading point server with seven. Natalie Brodersen served three aces. On Thursday, the team traveled to Ainsworth to take on the Bulldogs. The Eagles were again victorious in two sets 25-11 and 25-13. McKenzie Adamson hit .500 to lead the team in kills with four. Abby Krysl added another three. Natalie and Amanda Pischel each added two more. Brandi Taylor and Bailee Dougherty both served two aces. Rahtaya served the most points with nine for the Eagles. Brandi led the team in set assists with 12. Sarah Devall added two more. Defensively, Rahtaya and McKenzie led the team with five digs each. Rahtaya was 100% in passing for the game. She was 5 for 5 in serve receptions. McKenzie also had one solo block. The Eagles continue to improve with each game. The coaching staff is pleased with their progress.
