Atkinson — Christine "Chris" Marie Andersen, 64, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island from complications resulting from metastatic uterine cancer. Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026 at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson with a rosary. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Atkinson. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Atkinson. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
