The O'Neill Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2025 Lighted Parade Winners from the Hometown Christmas Celebration held last Friday, Dec. 5. Christmas Star Award - Don Holtgrew with his lighted tractor and combine. Elfin Magic Award - Lori's Daycare. Tin Solder Award - Accura Healthcare - this award was sponsored by Avera St. Anthony's. Santa's Sleigh Award - Jason Roeder and Melissa Thiesen. Rudolph's Best Friend - The Winnetoon BBQ. Spiritual Award (Formerly Fruitcake Award) - Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The O'Neill Chamber of Commerce is also hosting the 2025 Home Decorating & Lighting Contest. To be eligible for the contest, homes must be within three miles of O'Neill and decorations visible from the street. Contestants must enter by Dec. 17 because voting will take place from Dec. 18 to Dec. 28. Winners will be announced on Dec. 29. Prizes are: 1st place $500, 2nd place $300 and 3rd place $200.
