Lynch —Brian LeRoy Purviance, 63, of Lynch, died Monday, March 6, 2023 at Douglas County Health Center in Omaha.
A private family mass was held at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lynch. Fr. Ross Burkhalter officiated.
Burial was in the Assumption Blessed Virgi Mary Catholic Cemetery in Lynch.
Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
Brockhaus Funeral Home in Spencer was in charge of the arrangements.
Brian, son of LeRoy and Kathryn (Mulhair) Purviance, was born Nov. 22, 1959, in Aurora, CO. He attended Lynch Public School and graduated with the class of 1978. Brian graduated from Wayne State College with a bachelor's degree in industrial management.
Brian worked for Omaha Print in Omaha for several years before transferring to Chicago, IL where he worked for many years. Later Brian moved back to Lynch and worked for Boyd County Insurance in Spencer.
Brian's motto for life was “I love God, and He loves me!”

Brian is survived by his father LeRoy Purviance; mother Kathryn (Mulhair) Purviance; and his five siblings Brad (Delia) Purviance, Bruce (Angela) Purviance, Brenda (Barry) DeKay, Brent Purviance and Brocke (Jessica) Purviance.
