Girl Scouts Out Making Sales For Troop Progress

Mar 8, 2023 (0)

Some of the O'Neill Girl Scouts were selling cookies in front of the WildFlour Store in O'Neill on Saturday.

The O'Neill Girl Scouts were out this weekend in the lovely weather with a stand in front of the WildFlour Store in downtown O'Neill. With every Girl Scout Cookie purchase, you're supporting Girl Scouts' ability to learn, grow, and thrive through all of life's adventures. One hundred percent of the money that a council and its troops raise through the Girl Scout Cookie Program stays with that council and its troops. Through this program, girls not only learn goal setting, but decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics—aspects essential to leadership, to success, and to life.

The reality is that the population of girls, for whom this leadership experience is essential, is growing. Without the support of grant funding, public and private donations, and our dedicated outreach volunteers, we would not have the resources necessary to provide Girl Scouts to the girls who need us most. Because only registered Girl Scouts can sell Girl Scout Cookies, their market availability is generally between January and April, when Girl Scouts participate in the program through their local council. Raspberry Rally is this year's new online-exclusive cookie that can only be purchased online and shipped directly to your home.
