  The Public Forum for the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plans of the O'Neill Public School was opened by President Gene Chohon at 7:21 pm, on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Administrative Offices at 410 East Benton, O'Neill, Nebraska. 

The plans were reviewed.  No changes were made to the plans.

The Public Forum closed at 7:25 pm.

• Negotiations

The negotiation committees met on Wednesday, November 30th.  Insurance will increase by 6.87% for the 2023-2024 school year. The committees will plan to meet again on December 14th. No action is necessary.

Football Field Concession Stand

Doug Burkink currently has one bid for the concession stand/restroom project for the football field. A local contractor has agreed to work jointly with another local contractor to complete the project if approved. No action was taken.

Policy #3000's - Business Operations

Mr. Rotherham will be reaching out to KSB regarding recommendations associated with Policy #3040 School Safety and Security. No action taken at this time.

• O'Neill Public Schools 2021-2022 Audit

A motion to approve the 2021-2022 Financial Statement as prepared by Dana F. Cole & Company, passed with a motion made by Barton Becker and seconded by Coby Welke.

Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plans

In order to access the federal ARP (American Recovery Plan) funds we must have a “Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan”. We must also seek meaningful input from our stakeholders on this plan and review the plan periodically.  We held a Public Forum prior to the meeting this evening. After reviewing the plans and having no changes, there was no action necessary.
