SPECIAL ISSUE

CHAMBERS TOWNSHIP
Shall the Chambers Township be allowed to levy a property tax not to exceed 8 cents per $100 of taxable valuation in excess of the limits prescribed by law until fiscal year ending June 30, 2028, for the purposes of general township operations. This increase is necessary in order for the Township to continue to provide services at the same level as in the past without the need for annual townhall meetings to vote to exceed levy allocations by Holt County. The voters in attendance at such annual meetings have approved the 8 cent levy for the past several years.

CONLEY TOWNSHIP

Shall the Conley Township be allowed to levy a property tax not to exceed 8 cents per $100 of taxable valuation in excess of the limits prescribed by law until fiscal year ending June 30, 2028, for the purposes of general township operations and shall the Conley Township Board, increase its budgeted restricted funds for fiscal year 2023-24 by $22,000 which is two hundred and nineteen percent (219%) over the current year's restricted funds with the proceeds collected by such additional tax levy used for necessary general operations, road repair and maintenance. This increase is necessary in order for the Township to continue to provide services at the same level as in the past without the need for annual townhall meetings to vote to exceed levy allocations by Holt County.
