The Stuart boys traveled to Spencer last week for a marathon of basketball. The boys defeated Boyd County 50-42 and Neligh/Oakdale 46-39.

The boys dominated Boyd Co. in the first half and led 25-17. Boyd Co. made a comeback in the fourth but didn't make up the slack and the Broncos prevailed.

Leading the Broncos was Schulyer Mustin with 20 points, six steals and six rebounds; Ryan Steinhauser 13 points and four rebounds; Cameron Sattler six points and four rebounds; Anthony Heiser four point; Tyson Stracke four points, five rebounds and three steals; and Ben Paxton three points.

In game two the boys downed Neligh/Oakdale 46-39. The Broncos kept just ahead of the Warriors leading them 24-17 at the half. The Broncocs kept the pressure on even with a 18 point surge by the Warriors in the fourth.

Heiser led the Broncos in this match with 16 points, two steals and seven rebounds; Mustin 10 points and five rebounds; Ryan Steinhauser nine points, seven rebounds and three steals; Sattler four points and seven rebounds; Stracke four points; and Paxton three points.
