The CWC Renegades opened their season with a huge win running over the Boyd County Spartans last week winning 42-8. The Spartans managed to put up six on a rushing touchdown by Kolt Boettcher followed by Ethan Mcbride running in the two point conversion.

Cole Duba led the Renegades at quarterback throwing three times for two completions.

Jackson Waldo led the Renegades rushing with seven carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns and had a total of 161 yards for the game and 22 points followed by Cole Duba with nine carries for 75 yards and two touchdowns and a total of 135 yards and 12 points; Jayden Sheldon four carries for 42 yards; Rex Day eight carries for 17 yards and eight points; Ryder Pokorny one carry for six yards and Peter Jesse one carry for five yards.

Waldo led the receivers for the Renegades with a 10 yard touchdown reception followed by Day with a 10 yard touchdown catch and Solan Bowen with one catch for a yard.

Waldo led the defense with 11 tackles followed by Day and Blake Wolinski with eight tackles; Duba seven tackles; Sheldon, Logan Sanford and Brady Renner six tackles each; Porkorny three tackles; Peter Jesse and Solan Bowen two tackles each; Wyatt Ehlers, Ty Growcock and Gunner Hoerle one tackle each.
