The Lady Eagles traveled to Plainview to meet up with the Lady Pirates on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The Eagles took the lead right from the start and never looked back. In the first quarter they managed to put 19 on the board,while the Pirates only racked up seven points. The second quarter was the closest when the Eagles added 15 to their score and the Pirates made an 11 point addition to their score. At the half, the Eagles led 34-18.
The second half continued much like the first with the Eagles putting up twice the Pirates score in the third quarter and three times their score in the fourth. At the buzzer, the Eagles had more than double the Pirates' score with a 72-34 win.
Leading scorers for the Eagles were Blair Gutshall with 16 points, shooting 54 percent from the floor and 100 percent at the free throw line, with 12 rebounds and three steals; Lauren Young 13 points, shooting 64 percent at the white stripe, with eight rebounds and one steal; Meg Schluns 10 points, nine rebounds and nine steals; Kiersten Welke eight points, three rebounds and two steals; Alissa Eichelberger eight points and five steals; Wreece Leiwer six points; Zelie Sorensen four points, six rebounds and one steal; Chloe Scott two points, three rebounds and one steal; and Makayla Hilker two points, one rebound and one steal.

The Ord Chanticleers made their way to the Eagle's new gym on Friday, Feb. 14. for their last regular season game.
The Eagles struck in the first quarter putting 13 points on the board right away and holding the Chants to a mere five points. The second quarter was a little closer. The Eagles made an addition of 14 points while the Chants tacked on 10 more points. At the half, the Eagles had a pretty good lead 27-15.
The third quarter continued along the same path with the Eagles rounding up 12 more points and the Chants only getting 10 more on the board. In the fourth quarter the Chants managed to outscore the Eagles, putting 13 points on their side of the board while the Eagles only added 10 more points, but the damage was already done, at the buzzer the Eagles took the 49-37 win.
Leading the Eagles were Schluns with 14 points, shooting 60 percent from the floor, getting 12 rebounds and four steals; Eichelberger 13 points, shooting 75 percent at the free throw line, getting two rebounds and five steals; Gutshall seven points and five rebounds; Young six points, three rebounds and one steal; Welke five points and two rebounds; Hilker two points, six rebounds and two steals; and Leiwer two points and one steal.
