On April 27th, the Saint Mary's Cardinals competed at the Boyd County Invite in O'Neill. Cardinal medalists for the girls were Emma Otte, sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.57, Lorissa Reiman, fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.84, Faith Williamson, second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:36.77 and Kaylin Gaughenbaugh, third in the 800 with a time of 2:49.08. Hannah Gleason placed fifth in the mile with a time of 6:59.89. The 4X100 meter relay team of Otte, Joslyn Eby, Hope Williamson and Delaney Wohlert placed fourth with a time of 57.62 and the 4X400 meter relay team of Faith Williamson, Mya Hedstrom, Reiman and Alissa Brabec placed first with a time of 4:31.02. The 4X800 meter relay team of Brabec, Hope Williamson, Reiman and Faith Williamson placed first with a time of 11:08.09.

In the long jump, Wohlert placed fourth with a leap of thirteen feet, nine and one half inches, and Jadyn Eby placed fifth with a jump of thirteen feet and three inches.

In the shot put, Alyssa Fehringer placed second with a toss of thirty-three feet and four inches, and Charley Mlnarik placed fourth with a toss of thirty feet, ten and one half inches. In the discus, Charley Mlnarik placed second with a throw of ninety-eight feet and one inch.

Boys' medalists were Gabe Pribil, second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.64 and third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:13.80. Will Schmitz placed first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.91, and Grant Winkelbauer placed first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:10.25.

The 4X100 meter relay team of Tate Thompson, Adam Everitt, Kyle Pribil, and Dalton Alder placed fifth with a time of 51.21, and the 4X400 meter relay team of Isaac Everitt, Thompson, Schmitz, and Winkelbauer placed second with a time of 3:50.21.

The 4X800 meter relay team of Winkelbauer, Schmitz, Isaac Everitt, and Gabe Pribil placed first with a time of 9:00.57. Additionally, Tate Thompson placed third in the high jump with a height of five feet and four inches.

In the long jump, Isaac Everitt placed third with a leap of seventeen feet and four inches, and he placed fourth in the triple jump with a distance of thirty-four feet. Adam Everitt placed fourth in the shot put with a toss of thirty-eight feet, nine and one half inches, he also placed second in the discus with a throw of 122 feet and two inches. Charles Barlow placed sixth in the discus with a throw of 109 feet and one inch.
