The children of Alfred G. and Carol Ann (Robinson) Korb are requesting a card shower for their parents recent 50th wedding anniversary.

Al and Carol were married on June 26, 1969 at First Baptist Church in Witten, SD, by Rev William Nollman. They have been blessed with three children Alfred D. Korb of Lincoln, Leslie (Korb) McDaniel of Glenvil and Michael Korb of Clay Center; five grandchildren Hannah and Maddie McDaniel, Tyler Korb, Talyn and Addie Asche.

Al served several years in the U.S. Air Force which included a tour in Vietnam when they were first married. After being discharged from the Air Force they returned home to the Midwest. Throughout their married life Al and Carol lived near Kilgore, Carter, SD, O’Neill, Page, Orchard and Wood, SD where they committed their life to farming, ranching and a cowboy way of life. 

Since 2010 Al has worked at University of Nebraska-Lincoln Meat & Animal Research Center near Clay Center continuing to care for cattle and riding horses almost daily. Carol has supported her family as a wife, mom and caretaker throughout their journey together. In 2010, Al and Carol moved to Nelson to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
