Page — Sharon Agnes Blain, 71, of Page, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill.

Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 at the Assembly of God Church in O'Neill.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 at the church in O'Neill. Rev. Mike Durre will officiate.

Burial will be at the Hope-Enterprise Cemetery north of Orchard.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of the arrangements.

Sharon was born on Jan. 4, 1949, at Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, CA to Leonard and Sylvia (Verville) Engstrom. 

She was a happy little girl growing up with her mother Sylvia, her sister Mary and her kitty Pinky. Sharon did her catechism and baptismal at St. Joseph Cathedral.

Sharon met Edward Svehla and they were married on July 16. 1965 in San Diego. To this union, two daughters were born, Edlisia and Sharon.  

She worked various jobs, including for a time for Kodak Film, as a waitress and a cake decorator. Her marriage to Edward Svehla ended in 1993.

Sharon met George Blain and they were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1995 in O’Neill. 

Together they ran Blain Pumping and Plumbing up until her passing. She loved doing embroidery and spending time with her fur babies.

Sharon is survived by her husband George Blain of Page; two children Edlisia (Rodney) Seyler of Alma and Sharon (Randy) Aime of O’Neill; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister Mary (Jeremiah) Huffman of Great Bend, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Sylvia Engstrom.
