Torrington, Wy — Michael Scott Buller, 55, of Torrington, WY, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at Banner Community Hospital in Torrington, WY.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Michael was born on May 8, 1966, in Henderson, to Dan and Marie (Hiebner) Buller.

Mike moved to O'Neill in 1972 with his parents and siblings. He attended grade school at a nearby country school and graduated from Nebraska Christian High School in Central City in 1984.

He married Jan Lorenz in 1992 and they had two daughters. Mike farmed with his dad and later on farmed with other local farmers. He also worked for the Holt County Road Department.  

He was a member of Faith Community Church in O'Neill.

In 2018, the family moved to Torrington, WY, where Mike was employed by the Goshen County Road and Bridge Department.  

Mike had a special mechanical gift and people would often ask him to fix, repair and fabricate items for them. He had been pursing starting his own repair shop in Torrington, at the time of his death. 

He attended church at North Hills Baptist Church in Lingle, WY.

Mike is survived by his wife of 29 years Jan (Lorenz) Buller; two daughters Stephanie Buller and Katelyn (Riley) Abbott; one grandson Barrett Abbott; one brother Stan (Wendy) Buller; four sisters Sheryl Wiens, Brenda (Dean) Wayman, Debbie (Dave) Ronne and Denise (Calvin) Ehler; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; also in-laws Gordon and Larue Lorenz of O'Neill; and two brothers-in-law Phil (Kimberly) Lorenz and Rick (Janel) Lorenz.   

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law.
