Fayetteville, AR — Lynn Gerald Spelts, 71, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at his home surrounded by family following a long, hard battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at The Rock of Northwest Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Lynn was born on Sept. 7, 1948, the son of Wayne and Beth (Cash) Spelts, and the brother of Janet (Spelts) Curry. He was raised in O’Neill, Nebraska. 

He moved to Fayetteville, AR in 1995.

Lynn was above all else a man of God. He was a talented musician who cherished playing his guitar in his worship to his Lord and Savior. Lynn was a man of integrity who strived to live his life walking in the image of his Lord. 

He was a humble and honorable man that befriended many, far and wide. Lynn was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.

Lynn is survived by his wife whom he cherished of 40 years Julie (Wichman) Spelts; three sons Samuel (Jenny) Spelts, Jesse (Rebecca) Spelts and Gaberiel (Meghan) Spelts; one daughter Tobie Spelts; five grandchildren who he adored Hattie, Dean, Molly, Ruby and Ally Spelts; and three step-grandchildren Rylee, Tatym and Bailey.
