Baseball Donation

O'Neill Legion Baseball Donation: The $300 check presented (L-R) by current VSO Ken Stenka and Sharon Hall, spouse of Arnold, to American Legion baseball board members Tom Earley and Dave Laursen receiving the check for the baseball program.

The County Veteran Service Officers Association of Nebraska (CVSOAN) has donated $300 to the O’Neill American Legion Post 93 Baseball organization in honor of Arnold Hall, former Holt County Veteran Service Officer (CVSO). The CVSOAN actively and aggressively pursues all benefits for veterans and eligible family members through education, training and advocacy programs.

In addition to assisting Veterans and their families with VA claims, Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) also sponsor a range of Veteran-centric programs such as providing transportation to and from VA medical center appointments, funds and volunteers for disaster relief and grants. VSOs also lobby Congress on behalf of issues facing Veterans and help support requests for resources needed by VA to better serve Veterans, their families and survivors.

Previous CVSO Arnold Hall, had been a long time member of the CVSOAN throughout his time as a Holt, Boyd and Wheeler county VSO, and supported the organization, as well as, his community very well.
