The CWCE Renegades played the St. Mary's Cards last Thursday, Oct. 3 in O'Neill and gave the Cards a bit of the same action the Cards gave to Stuart the week before with the score being on the wrong side for the Cards who lost 42-6 at home.

The Cardinals couldn't get their offense rolling despite running more offense then CWCE.

The Cardinals ran 46 plays for six first downs and had four penalties for 30 yards. The Renegades ran 36 plays for six first downs and had seven penalties for 60 yards.

The Renegades struck early in the first quarter when Wyatt Wagner ran in a 42-yard touchdown with no conversion to put CWCE up by six for the first quarter. The Renegades scored twice more in the second quarter when the Renegades drove deep into Cardinal territory and Cole Duba scored on a one-yard touchdown run and Duba hit Jackson Waldo for the two point conversion. Duba hit Dalton Rotherham for the next score of the game when he threw a 23-yard touchdown pass and with no conversion the Renegades led the Cards at the half 22-0.

Wagner scored twice in the third on a nine-yard touchdown run and then on a three-yard touchdown run in the third.

Bryson Abbot ran in the last score for the Renegades on a break away 52-yard touchdown run.

The Cards only score came in the fourth when Tate Thompson hit Isaac Everitt on a nine-yard touchdown catch to give the Cards six for the night.

Thomspon threw 12 times for five completions and one touchdown on the night. 

Gabe Pribil led the Cardinals with eight carries for 73 yards; Grant Winkelbauer  had eight carries for 22 yards; Adam Everitt one carry for 10 yards; and Dalton Alder three carries for seven yards.

Leading Receivers for the Cardinals were Thompson with one catch for 12 yards; Issac Everitt one catch for nine yards; Connor Semin one catch for six yards; Alder one catch for three yards and Winklebauer one catch for two yards.

Thompson led the defense with 12 tackles;Winkelbauer 10 tackles; Isaiah Wiese eight tackles; Pribil and Semin seven tackles each; Adam Everitt five tackles; Wyatt Scofield four tackles and Issac Everitt three tackles.

Cole Duba threw eight times for six completions and one touchdown.

Wagner led the ground game for the the Renegades with 15 carries for 109 yards; Jackson Waldo six carries for 62 yards; Bryson Abbot two carries for 60 yards; Duba four carries for nine yards; and Xavier Hobbs two carries for four yards.

Samuel Jesse led the Renegade receivers with four catches for 26 yards; Dalton Rotherham one catch for 23 yards and Rex Day one catch for eight yards.

Waldo led the Renegades defense with 17 tackles; Logan Sanford 11 tackles; Wagner, Day and Joshua Klabenes with seven tackles each; Jesse five tackles; Rotherham, Abbot, Blake Wolinkski and Brady Renner three tackles each; Duba, Dominiqe Hobbs and Joseph Hoffman two each; and Peter Jesse and Xavier Hobbs one each.
