Parkside Manor

Parkside Manor is a small nonprofit, community owned nursing home and assisted living that has been serving the community for over 40 years. 

STUART — A poker run and barbecue will be hosted on Saturday, Sept. 15 to benefit Parkside Manor in Stuart. All proceeds will be used to upgrade the floors and nurses station.

Registration is from 10-11 a.m. with kickstands up at 11 a.m. The event is open to all types of vehicles. Entry fee is $20 per person. 

The route will travel through Stuart, Bassett, Springview, Naper, Butte and Atkinson and finish in Stuart. Participants will be able to get their card validated at any of those stops.

Check in ends at 6:30 p.m. at the Parkside Manor Garage at 607 N. Main St.

All hands must be drawn and submitted by 6:30 p.m. with prizes for the top three hands. Everyone registered is entered into prize drawings.

A freewill donation barbecue will be hosted from 5-7:30 p.m. Meal includes pork sandwiches, beans, salads, chips and a drink.
