A 38-year-old O’Neill man appeared in Holt County Court on July 31 for alleged drug possession charges.
Andy R. Potts Vandemheen waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over to Holt County District Court for three counts of possession of a controlled substance, each a Class 4 felony; and three counts of possession or use of drug paraphernalia, each an infraction.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on or around Feb. 15. Alleged charges include possession of phentermine, hydrocodone and tetrahydrocannabinol.
Judge Kale B. Burdick sealed the probable cause affidavit due to an on-going investigation by Holt County Sheriff’s Office. No further information is available at this time.
A bond was filed for the defendant on Feb. 19 in the amount of 10 percent of $30,000.
Potts Vandermheen’s arraignment is set for Aug. 26 in district court.
