Andy Hoffman and Brent Kelly are pleased to announce the sale of Andrew Hoffman Law, PC, LLO, to Brent Kelly. Andy is retiring from the practice of law to spend more time with his family. Brent will continue to serve existing clients, as well as the greater Atkinson area and will maintain the same office location on the east side of Atkinson.

Brent graduated Creighton University School of Law with honors, and was ranked number one in his class in negotiations, number one in his class in contracts and number one in his class in arbitration. Following his graduation, Brent entered private practice for six years where he practiced in civil and criminal litigation, elder law, family law and agricultural law.

Since becoming the Holt County Attorney five years ago, Brent has successfully prosecuted more than 1,800 felony and misdemeanor cases, ranging from DUI to second degree murder. Brent has litigated and tried cases in County Court, District Court and the Nebraska Supreme Court. He’s also served as a special prosecutor in Antelope, Knox, Rock, Brown and Cherry counties and currently serves as the appointed County Attorney in Boyd County.

“I know that Andy does great work, and that his practice is on the cutting edge of estate planning and asset protection. I look forward to continuing his legacy while also continuing to fulfill my role as County Attorney,” said Brent Kelly.
