Holt County Animal Shelter (HCAS) is hosting a microchip clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at the Summerfest vendor fair in Ford Park.

Cost is $25 for each pet chipped or $15 with a donation of paper towels, dish soap, bleach or high efficiency laundry soap. Dr. Kelly Darner-Rasmussen with Shamrock Vet Clinic will be offering $10 rabies vaccinations.

HCAS will set up "pup stops" with water, poop bags and possible pup pools for those who bring their dogs to the park to enjoy the fun events.

Some of shelter's adoptable dogs will be mingling in the crowd in hopes of finding their "fur"ever homes. HCAS also will have a table set up with cookbooks and other items for sale.
